Guide me on the right path every day When my words are lost in foolishness Replace them with Your wisdom, nothing less When I'm blinded by the choices I've made Lord Jesus, be my guide, don't let me stray In my moments of reckless pursuit Fill me with your love, make me resolute When sins and shame have buried my soul Lead me back to You, make me whole Break protocols, dear Jesus, save my soul For I have failed myself, I'm no longer whole Take away my power to decide Help me in my foolishness, be my guide Lift me up from the pit I've fallen into Cleanse me from my sins, make my heart new In my backsliding, be patient with me still Like a dog returning to its own ill will Pull me out of the mud, dear Lord, with Your grace Let me experience Your love, face to face With all my heart, I surrender to You Do Your work in me, make me brand new For I am Your work in progress, it's true Help me, Lord, for I can't do it without You.
