I watched her move through her days Carrying herself with listless grace. More apathy than sadness, As if her body was darkened Standing in the shadow of happiness- As if she was trying to recall the feeling, Like a distant memory. And yet I speak as though I am not looking at her in the mirror As though I'm not begging her to remember me.
