My Hero
They say time would soften the silence, but your absence still speaks the loudest, in quiet corners where your laughter used to live, in the spaces where your voice still echoes my name. I still hold onto those father and son moments, recalling your soft gentle voice saying "Moyoyo do not worry, we would visit those places very soon". Now that soft gentle voice just plays in my head, Like an endless musical track. You were the man I looked up to, not because you demanded it, but because you lived it, through the kindness in your hands, the love in your voice, and the peace in your presence. Now I find myself trying to be like you, in the way I speak, in the way I care, in the way I stop and ask everyone, “How Are You Doing?” because that was how you taught me to love. As much as I want to forget these things easily, memories still remind me that a legend once lived. Some nights I break in silence, Knowing that I can no longer hear your sweet soft voice whispering to me, telling me to calm down and pray to God for everything to become better. I know God has done the best, but forgetting you is one thing that I would never do. Hmmmm I guess it's till we meet to path no more. Rest On Champ 💯❤️
