My heart's worth
Perhaps look at what my heart's worth, Rather than the emotions you ignore, Perhaps catch my tears, Rather than fending me off to face my fears. I was once a child, Filled with innocence, You where once my world, Those days and memories fading, First teach me what it feels like to dream of the stars, Teach me how to be responsible of it's beauty, To Cary it's weight and gravity, Tell me why my heart is enrage, Tell me why my mind is like a maze, Teach me a way to feel the world, Not just to grasp you're worries and hold. Allow me to feel the grass and the winds discern, Teach me how to love the light, Tell me how to love as it blinds my eyes, Don't teach me how to stop the waves below my feet, Nor teach me to accept it's rage, Teach me to observe it's sharp gaze, So that I don't feel afraid. Lastly love me, Not because I ask of it, Not just to appease my worries, To satisfy my whines, Not just to lessen the weight you carry. Love me as if it's natural like the green grass, Love me like the daffodils you find, Love me not because I ask of it, Love me as natural as the big blue sky.
