My Heart Will Betray Me

If you say, "No. Sorry" and I begin to cry Know it's not only your response but my heart as well It betrayed me It broke me You were just being honest And your honesty is appreciated The longing to meet you everyday Was first made in my heart before it reached my head All my feelings, all of my thoughts without you are being left unread I cry bitterly for you, pray for you Tahajjud calms my soul It helps but you, You calm my heart In happiness, I sing your name On the prayer mat, I wish things will one day be the same If not same, then better If not better, Then Allah! Do what is for us the best Whether it's us being together or apart I know whatever He's doing is probably for the best I must learn to patient Because my heart and soul needs it the most
