My Heart belongs to you
My heart belongs to you — not with ribbon bound, not with silver pinned, but beating free in the open air where you can hear it — awkward, true, reaching out your name with every beat. It's yours in the still hours before dawn, when the world forgets to breathe, and I find your hand, careless and warm in sleep — like you think you can trust me to keep your dreams. It's yours when the rain attempts to wash us clean, and we laugh standing there, soaked and light, your hair stuck to your forehead, your eyes shining as if the sky broke for us. My heart is yours when we fight — when words bruise and silence gathers, but even then it squirms back, stubborn, tender, laying itself down at your feet like a promise. It will be yours when we're old, when your hair is silver and my hands shake, when our memories get fuzzy but your name cuts clear, etched inside my ribcage where it started. If you ever need to know where you reside in this life, you live here — inside this everyday, toughly loyal, flawed heart that has never known how to belong to anyone else. With every vow I speak anew , Through storms and skies of endless blue Know all I am belongs to you- Forever my love, will My Heart belong to you.💫
