My Heart

A feeling of wanting to burst My heart with emotions, Of wishing I could just reverse This anguish and this pain, To have no insecurities, No worries, no more shame, To feel free and unburdened By all these heavy chains, To have no more fear Of what others may think, To have no more despair When life's path starts to sink, To have no more sadness When I'm feeling alone, To have no more anger When I'm feeling unknown, To just feel content And happy with the now, To have no more wishing That I could somehow Reverse this feeling And take away the pain, The feeling of wanting My heart to explode again.
