My heart
My heart burns. Aches for you to hold me. The way you did before. But you don't love me. It was just a game you played. My heart is charcoal. Black, left alone until the next fire comes. I won't say I'm broken, no. Far from it. I'm aching. Not healing. But not broken. Yet. My heart burns. At the hands of the one I called mine.
