My happiness
They have diamonds, they have gold, they have everything, yet they’re alone. There’s no value in those things— lifeless and dull. I have arms wrapping me close, I have eyes fixed on mine. I wonder what they see when my whole world looks at me. I smile, and smile within. What could be better than purer things? There’s a wonder in that soul— it pulls me in. Brighter than any light, shinier than the moonlight, with him I’m meant to be. Nothing else will do, I just want me and you.
