My Girl
But now I'm with your girl. You don't know this but she loves me. She tells me that I'm sweeter than you. I told her, "Girl, leave him for me. I'll treat you like a girl should be. I'll show you the love he never could." She knows I'm right. But she's so scared of your toxic masculinity. She says, "But what if he makes me cry again?" I told her I'd hold her through it all. Now she's about to leave you. She's dropping hints And you're getting scared. You hurt her Like you once hurt me. Now she knows you're not good. She knows I'd love her more And like I should. I'd appreciate her. Now she's dumping you. You're begging her to stay. Finally, she says, "She's so much better than you." Then you realize that I've held your girl. Now you know she's mine. Now she's at my house. I'm holding her and letting her cry. You never did that for her. Now we're making our on my couch. Loving on each other. We can love each other free from you. You did nothing but pull us down. Now look who's the heartbroken one.
