My Freedom
My freedom, In a sense, it defines me, In many ways, it speaks, Speaks like sand and sea, It's waves by the shoreline, Sometimes, not a word from it, But forever it may shine, Shine so brightly as I sit. Amongst all the controlled emotion Around me, it spins in my life, The waves of the ocean Get cut with a knife, Plastic inside is damaging it, The controlling world, damages my liberty, Where is the shine that I admire as I sit? How does all this rubbish have this ability? It takes over me, All this waste is hurting our waters, All the freedom that used to be, And all the creatures that it slaughters, All I want, is, My freedom.
