My four-legged best friend

When I look at her, I see such might, a soul full of humor, a radiant light. She’s the friend who lingers, basking in the sun, But when adventures call, she’s already begun. She sets her limits when life feels too much, but gets back on the horse with a fearless touch. Her purpose is laughter, to live life in play, her sparkling eyes greet each brand-new day. With Timberlake blasting loud in her ears, she dances through life, dismissing all fears. She shields her loved ones from shadows and dread, chasing away the dark thoughts in her head. Yet behind her strength, there’s a need for care, a tender word, to feel love in the air. We’re two inseparables, bound by fate, a bond no force could ever break. She’s my foundation, my journey, my start, she’ll always remain so close to my heart. And the day her body decides to rest, when she’s gone, a hole in my chest. But the comfort I find, through joy and through career, is knowing she is always here.
