MY FAULT
Everyday striving Everyday denying is it truly my fault I couldn't be the worst I couldn't be the last had to set a record no one could break I Had to be on top of my game My job was to make you heal My job was to make you see My job was to take care of you when no one was taking care of me It hurt when i was blamed when i was condemned like i did something wrong i tried to be the best but i guess the weight came crashing down on me don't get this wrong I love you I care for you but sometimes i wonder if you ever cared or loved me My job was u I gave everything to you waiting for the same amount of love to come back but it didn't I thought I wasn't enough Wearing a crown that could never be taken off playing the role of a natural leader Always out there playing the defender When no one is defending me So tell me again who am I ? The first born the stronghold of the home the one that stops us from crashing into bones The one who always left alone
