My father s widow
As you bid farewell, they kept on saying it shall be well l watched you closely as you bitterly wept Every memory was related to your tears you tried to Swallow the sad news but you threw up with your eyes, rivers drew racing tracks on your cheeks l watched them compete, it was slide and fall Your lips slowly mumbled as you groaned, l carefully observed and absorbed your pain My heart was torn apart when you screamed his name a thousand times, they hugged you and told you he was gone and it can't be undone you constantly waved and whispered his name as he lay alone in that white box, perhaps he showed up to say goodbye but it was just my imagination. Every condolence message sounded like mockery how could they say it is well, when absolutely nothing made sense. l closely watch you deny the uncertain transition from wife to widow.
