My Fair Lady (Tribute to Hope
My heart sinks and gradually fades with December flowers. The summer breeze reaches a new wardrobe and wears the coat of May. My fair lady, perfect and shy, come out and dance away. Heavy-hearted, bloated with polluted city grime, my legs are steady—ready for energized runs. I have the courage to wear my skin loose, baggy below the knee— California dreams and lazy nights in LA, propelled by wings and ecstasy. Ascending the scale with closed eyes, foolish to some, but sober, renovating in the blue ribbon sky.
