MY EMOTION NOW
I want to scream at the top of my lungs at you, After fifteen years and counting you've finally not been able to say back the words I love you, It stung like a slap to the face, Everywhere I go I feel out of place, More like I'm lost always searching for, The man that I only adore, Over the past fifteen years or more, Now you've finally shown me the exit door, I'm kind of at a loss for words, It feels like no one is listening and my hurt goes unheard, I walk everyday with my head facing the ground, One day when I've finally found, The Amanda that cares enough about herself to say your loss, I'll be okay cause now I'm the boss, Before we met I used to be independent, Wow I wonder where I went, Now I'm full of bitterness and low self esteem, We used to be part of a two man team, Although you've always put your friends and your deals ahead of me, And you never stuck up for me not even emotionally, I just don't know what to do with my time now, I do kind of believe that I can pull through this somehow, Part of me struggled with being alone, Leaving the relationship with not even one family or friend to phone, You were my everything but I wasn't yours, Im done being the dreadful housechore.
