My Dream Africa.
In the verdant expanse of Africa's terrain, A tapestry of cultures ,diverse , yet intertwined in vein, A continent blessed with riches, both natural and grand, Yet fragmented and fractured, by the hands of a foreign brand. Oh, Africa , arise, and unite as one , Shake off the shackles of servitude , forever done, Harness the resources, that God's benevolence has bestowed, And seal the windows of opportunity, for the plunders to exploit and load. Let the savannas of solidarity, stretch far and wide , And the mountains of unity, touch the skies with pride, Let the rivers of co-operation, flow with purpose and might, And the forests of collective progress bloom with delight . Close the door of neocolonialism, and it's exploitative guile, And open the gates of self-sufficiency, and a brighter smile, Africa , my dream , is one of prosperity and peace , Where the sons and daughters, can live without cease. Let the drums of diversity, beat in harmony, And the voices of freedom, echo in sweet melody, Let the flames of Innovation ,burn bright and bold, And the spirit of entrepreneurship, forever unfold. Let the thread of unity, forever cope, And forge a future, where all Africans can break through.
