Taking our time with this thing that's coursing between us, sharing small moments that only we know about. You've known me my whole life and nothing's really changed, except of course my feelings for you and much to my surprise yours for me. The realization of it hitting me now at this moment is shocking, how had I not noticed it before when we worked together? How you were so happy I was there. How you had been excited upon my arrival back in town after I had returned from visiting my sister in another state. The smile on your face and the gleam in your beautiful brown eyes whenever we'd see each other, all of it I had somehow not really noticed until now.
