My Cure
Are you my Cure? With A citrus glow seeping through your curls Freckled constellations scattered across a cheekbone in twirls Silver slowly streams Flowing through skin of greys and creams Caught in your napalm haze And burning gaze Why do you look through me all the same? When I'm taking the blame Trust me with your affection Leave myself to your perception You in shadows and light Your eyes speak the words you fight Crimson upon our fingertips Honey taste of your lips Yearning for that sweet breath Be the poison cure to my death The acid I drink My mind is clouded and I can't think Stinging down my throat Your pleasant taste my soul craves Sink into the foam of your waves Eyes; cerulean and gold enthrall Glimmer in the rats of starshine as I fall With pleasure I'd lay in my eternal rest If you sink the blade through my breast So lounge beside me as I bloom through Where did the flowing crystals of blood dissolve into? Opaline and iridescent Halcyon lining, so evanescent Cleanse my mind of your allure My seraphic cure
