Throughout a roller coaster life Self doubt & emotional turmoil Constantly cast their shadow upon me I've shown trust & loyalty but been deceived , Bestowed affection which was not returned Offered friendship & had it cruelly spurned My two constant companions Forever faithful, always at my side, Neither vying for overall supremacy, Uniquely individual yet united in harmony Each patiently awaiting it's choosing Dependent on my ever changing needs Both harmoniously content to join forces Offering their support to me when at my lowest ebb They are well known throughout the world!!
