My color yellow
The soul of the field are the growing corns As the soul of corns are sunshine and rain. You are the reason why lilies thrive in this lonesome handmade pond, the traveling bird who sings to every oak tree it passes by, the dew that seeps through the thirsty leaves and roots of summer floras. The thought of you, pens bleed; My mind runs to an isolated world which is neither real nor fantasy. There is a tinge of color yellow in your existence, I can see it spread around you when you smile, the brighter when you laugh, flickering when you’re asleep. I know you so well that even if my soul leaves, I know, Another body will come searching for your hue. ©reddragonfly⚘ (just free-versing, thoughts still in chaos)
