My Clementine
You drive me home late last night My expectations still so high But it's alright just hold me tight Is it too late to call you mine? I watch your eyes follow me by Craving your touch So sweet and deluxe Why can't I call you mine? Up all night with intimate thoughts Your hand thread through mine My dear sweet Clementine I see right through you But I freeze; I can't move Your feelings unanswered While I hide and cower Why am I still such a coward? We are both girls But I still know I love you So why do I pull away When I wish to stay? Then I'm hit with realization As my mom stares at me with hatred Tears run as my heart kick starts I knew to not love you from the start But I can't help it when we touch My face flushed; thoughts all rushed I loose control of all senses My pure sweet clementine Is it to late to ask? If you will be all mine My one my only Clementine
