My body, my prison
I don't know where to start , but maybe - maybe I will start where it hurts more. They say pain makes poets of the silent . So here I'm, writing .... because speaking hurts. I was born broken . I was born wrong . I was born with a name, but so many times I wonder if my diagnosis came first . Sickle cell Anemia Bilateral Deformity . Chronic Anemia. A list of conditions that seems to have defined me before I ever got the chance to to define myself. ©muhammad_aliu
