My Body
Glaring into the mirror, I face myself. A reflection of disappointment towards me. Flaws flashed before me, Why do I see myself like this? Will this perception haunt me forever? I've been overly conscious of myself. Examining every detail, neglecting each part of me. I can't seem to cease it, It's buried within me. But I refuse to embrace this view of myself. I yearn to embrace my body as something extraordinary. For it to be flawless, like a perfect circle. I yearn to emit brilliance, like the stars in the night sky. I aspire to perceive myself in a new way.
