My bedroom ceiling
Nightly I stare into an endless plane of dots and bumps. A popcorn ceiling, a sky full of stars. At the center of the plane is a spinning mass that pushes cold air. A ceiling fan, a black hole amongst the stars. Drawing lines amongst the dots I create figures, my thoughts, a perfect fuel source. Constellation, rumination, imagination. The end of this universe comes as soon as I close my eyes.
