My Battle With Mental Health
In the shadows of my mind, a battle rages on A war fought silently, unseen by the world An endless struggle between light and dark A constant tug-of-war for control The demons whisper in my ear Their voices like a never-ending storm Telling me I'm not good enough That I'll never be worthy of love But I fight back with every ounce of strength I cling to hope like a lifeline I refuse to let the darkness win To let my mind be consumed by fear Some days the battle feels never-ending Like I'm drowning in a sea of doubt But I remind myself that I am strong That I am a warrior, not a victim And slowly, day by day, I start to see That the light is winning the war That I am more than my struggles That I am resilient, I am brave So I stand tall, with my head held high Ready to face whatever comes my way For I am a survivor, a fighter And I will never let my mental health define me.
