We are the Giants of Africa... We are Nigerians... Descendants of those who were drowned by slavery... We are a stubborn race... Rich in minerals, agriculture and government But still the poorest of all... Shhh!!! don't let them hear you... We wipe off our makeup with tears... A place where everything without money is taken as a joke... I was kidnapped on my way home from school Or was it when my entire family lost their lives to unknown gun men.... Or a train full of people whose hopes and dreams were shattered by an opinion.... Oh!!! What a tragedy May their soul find comfort in heavens' abode.... These grounds are sanctioned in blood And no one is standing up for the truth The giant of Africa is on her knees She is on her knees begging a mere man for mercy pleading *LET MY PEOPLE GO, SET THEM FREE PLEASE!!!!* But, the Pharaoh's heart is hardened... As hardened as a rock... They made up their thrones with blood ... The blood of innocent people.... They all act like gods... And in the presence of a god ...
