Music Student
We used to be a pair like guitar chords and a strum We used to be as close as the sticks with a drum The guitars echo as every strum with the pick But then it all blew like a candle and a wick We stopped talking for what? Half a year? Just like the perfect music student I volunteer I'll do whatever it takes to play that game again Play your heart like a harp like you did then But really I wouldn't do that, I'm as lovely as a xylophones bars Because even if I'm mad I'm not going to fight or start wars I may seem dull like a D drone, but when you know me it's a D’ (D sharp) And even if I'm mad like you once were, I'll not play your heart like a harp
