murder in my mind
Murder in my mind, a dark and twisted thought Whispers of violence, in darkness I am caught The urge to harm, to maim and kill A chilling sensation, a dangerous thrill In the deep recesses of my troubled mind Sinister fantasies of cruelty unwind A twisted game of power and control A desire for blood, like a black hole The darkness consumes me, I am lost In the shadows of my own mind, the cost Of these murderous thoughts, so cruel and unkind A cautionary tale of the dangers of a twisted mind But fear not, for these thoughts do not define The essence of who I am, they are not mine I reject the darkness, I choose the light I will not succumb to the urge to fight So I banish the thoughts of murder, I let them go I will not be controlled by the darkness, I know That I am stronger than the demons in my mind I will stand tall, and leave the darkness behind.
