When I call my mother, sharing my pain, Not the kind that’s physical, just the weight of my brain. Her comforting voice, like a warm embrace, Feels like she’s right here, in this lonely space. I long for her solace, her understanding touch, Wishing she knew my struggles, my friendships, so much. If only she could see my heart laid bare, Then maybe my life would feel lighter, less rare.
