moving on
they all told me to move on from my mother's alcoholism. it's taken me years, i think. but today i cleaned out my closet. "really? was that seriously all you did?" yes. yes, in fact that's exactly what i did. i took the clothes out of my closet. they reminded me of my mother yelling, but i kept them. i took these clothes and put them in boxes. i am donating them tomorrow. moving on from my mother and my past. or at least, that's what i'm trying to do.
