Moving On
I met someone, and we fell in love, With promises whispered, stars above. Our hearts once danced in perfect tune, But time unraveled that sweet cocoon. We broke apart, the blame was shared, I thought it was his fault, he thought I was unfair. Yet, in the end, what’s done is done, The fault doesn’t matter; the battle’s won. He’s moved on, found his path anew, Left behind the love we once knew. Now, it’s my turn to heal and grow, To find my strength and let him go. Though our love is now a fading light, I’ll cherish the lessons, the wrongs and rights. For in moving on, I’ll find my way, To brighter skies and a brand new day.
