Moving Forward

Opportunities weren't always given, it's true, Sometimes you'll face denial, and it's hard to get through. Risks weren't always taken, with hearts full of fear, Sometimes we'll end up broken, and tears will appear. Life isn't always fair, with trials on our way, There'll be times we'll face them unprepared each day. Moments we'll try with hearts that are scared, Challenges along the path that we're forced to bear. Plans won't always follow the course we'd design, Instances will come when we're not favored in line. Acceptance is key to letting go of the past, To move forward to something new, and make it truly last.
