Moving Flowers
Among this field I lay and saw the flowers sway. I don't know why, I find myself here, in a meadow of reverie. but the field spoke to me as though it knew. The scent was alluring, and a faint melody was heard. And as my nose was brought close. To this rose. A wind flew by, and with the wave, these flowers followed. Out came tiny creatures. petite and small. They erupted in enthused whimpers and sounds. The entire field were these miniature men. Who sang with glee. The beating in my chest screamed for me to run. This ailen land wasn't for me. But one approached, with a small leaf. And dropped it to my feet. Another followed, this time with a stick. then a petal of a lily. then a feather from a bluebird. they all brough forth their form of gifts and trinkets. all for me. they're far from human barbarism. these creatures are more compassionate than my own kind. I watched in awe as they came together, and made a small crown, assorted with trinkets. the beating in my chest calmed. it was a beautiful evening to stop and smell the roses.
