A realism so sharpened, it kills with one soft strike. The motion of time, seeing through the mirage of my own fantasy. Oh please, God, let me survive this moment of time, and let it stretch another decade. Let my ears hear new music. Let my mouth speak new wisdom. Let me stand without back pain. Let my fingers move to new cadences. But let me grow as tall as I can be. Give me strength to see myself in the mirror, with imperfection; with all the blemishes and impurities, let me accept myself. On my knees, I declare redemption. Please forgive me for being human
