Mother's pain
A mother's pain, a heart so pure, But burdened with a weight so sure, Her tears fall like rain, Her soul wracked with pain. Her child, once so full of life, Now lost in the darkness, in endless strife, A mother's love, so strong and true, But what can she do? She watches as her child slips away, Day by day, night by night, with no delay, Her heart breaks with each passing hour, As she sees her child's soul slowly devour. She prays for strength, for a miracle to come, To save her child, to bring back the sun, But her prayers seem to fall on deaf ears, As her child's pain only grows, and her fears. A mother's pain, a burden to bear, A love so strong, a heart so rare, She will fight until her last breath, To save her child from this endless death.
