Morning demons.......
It's four am in the morning, Darkness reigns, yet I'm awake, Tortured thoughts, a restless mind, Love and worries my heart would partake. It's four am in the morning, Quiet hours, devoid of strife, Birds whisper sweet melodies, A soothing serenade, a restless life. It's four am in the morning, Crickets chirp, their gentle hum, Echoes through my empty room, A lonely symphony, a heart that's numb. It's four am in the morning, Red eyes heavy as my heart, Lack of sleep, a weary toll, Tears and thoughts forever to impart. It's four am in the morning, Shadows dance upon the wall, Moonlight casts an eerie glow, A reflection of my soul's dark fall. It's four am in the morning, In this stillness, I confess, My heart and mind, a troubled sea, Turbulent thoughts, in endless unrest
