More than meets the eye
Faint sounds reach thy ears, thy eyes pour one gallon of tears, heart beating like a machine; Being blinded is a horrible sin. Eyes wide-open as they dream, Though a closed heart lives in dim bluish light of thy lonely soul, unable to hear what love enthralls. Look at your soul so carefully. Hear the chimes and the melody. Feel with your skin this distant warmth. To see through the senses is to touch a heart. To perceive with the eyes is deceiving. Beauty can delude thy entire being. This dazzling light you see is a lie. There is more than meets the eye. ©reddragonfly⚘
