Moon vs Sun

We admire the moon for standing with us in silence, for keeping us company in the darkest hours. Yet the sun gives us far more— light, warmth, energy, and life itself. Still, our hearts lean toward the moon, because human beings remember not only who helped them survive, but who stayed beside them when they were hurting. Perhaps that is why the moon is loved— not because it gives us more, but because it feels closer when we need someone the most.
