Moon
You were my moon. You were the light that I looked to in all the darkness, But you descended too soon, and left my sky spotless. You were brightest celestial among the other bodies. You swayed the oceans within me, I hunger for your anatomy to be a part of my studies I would crash into your mantle willingly. You summoned the nocturnal being internally You evoked intense feelings I never knew existed I pined for you always deservedly I gave you my heart my soul but you left them twisted.
