Monarch Queen -10/2020
The butterflies come &greet her As she flitters into the meadow Iridescent luminescent wings made of Tangerine sunrises Artistic lines of obsidian woven with snowy spots of white As a multitude of little black wings Angels pure and radiant Each baring their souls Magnificent in vibrant color Gathering around her Golden Trees alight with fire Porcelain skin scattered with stardust Eyes of emerald filled with flecks of Honeycomb splendor laughing in delight A beautiful sight In a shade of crushed plum velvet As she wears a crown of thorns and roses Welcoming all the lost To come home Finding peace forevermore Within her gentle embrace
