Momma

I learned a lesson that I didn't think I needed to learn now my hurt burns I learned that not everyone deserves my heart, or energy, or my time. I wasted a lot of it ngl drained asfc trying to figure out why. my momma told me last night "baby girl why do you do this to yourself knowing it wasn't right?" well momma I was trying to prove everyone wrong because I found a light in them that shined so fucking bright. my momma told me and it made me cry "baby you love deep, but you don't deserve anyone that doesn't know how lucky they are to have you in their life" I cried of course my mom was right
