momentum
although i refuse to see it time continues whether or not. i would rather take a quiet life where my hands dont shake quite as much and my heart beat is quieter than the constant ticking of the clocks. it feels like yesterday was years ago, though my face has yet to age and my hair has yet to grow. and my bones have yet to become brittle and fragile. the world did not end when i was 16, though i may wish it had. nor did it end at 13, 14, 15. time continued, whether or not. and today i passed a stranger, but it was strange. i knew her favorite color i knew where she felt safest i knew what she loved i knew her values i knew her. but she glanced and turned away.
