Mom
I never realized how much you gave Until I was standing at your grave You gave me support and advice Even if it was very late at night Your love was unconditional Almost seemed so fictional Your love was never-endless Like looking at the horizon Your smile lit up my world and were the sunrays on a cloudy day That held all of the monsters at bay It cheered me up when I was down Your voice sounded like the melody of birds singing in the early morning. As powerful as a lion's roaring Yet sweeter than any honey You were my rock and so much more You were always there for me You always comforted me You were my mom and always will be I miss you a lot mom I miss your hugs and kisses All your surprises and treats But I especially miss our late night talks You'll never get to experience big life moments with me. Like my 18th birthday or my wedding one day. And many more, Just too much to all say. I miss you mom and I wish you were still here. I want to feel your embrace. I want to look into your loving gaze I want to feel your love and warmth At least just once more I miss you and love you so much mom Sometimes I still cant believe that you're really gone...
