During my many nights I cried in fear You were always near You always made me feel loved and safe Mom you were always my comfort place Through all your pain you always made time for me You used to hide your pain to make me smile Even if you were hiding your struggles away in a pile You always say I am you're reason to live but the truth is you are my reason to live Despite everything I have been through you always put me first You were always there with me through my happiness and my worst Mom there is no one as loyal as you That's something that will remain forever true Many people may leave me to sink down at sea But I will always remember you are my strength you were there when I took my first steps standing on your knees Thank you mom For always being so strong
