MLK B'Day
In the realms of dreams a man stood tall with a vision of justice answering the call... MLK a beacon of hope fighting for equality with theology... In peaceful protests he took a stand against segregation across our lands... "I Have A Dream" he boldly declared a world where all are equal beyond compare... For America gave Black people a bounced check with insufficient funds now we are trying to collect... In the heart of struggle resilience unfurls MLK vision for black boys and girls came with a price that will never be told... In the face of prejudice where he stood tall championing for justice breaking down walls... Black lives mattered so deep in his soul made the government lose their control... 100 years later the Black Man is still not free even today we still hang from trees... MLK marched in D.C to the nations capital trying to cash a check that Black people will never see... As he asked when is it our time for Black people to be free we built America on our backs through slavery... Democracy what is that in today's society Black people are still fighting for equality... His dream that one day this nation will not judge on the color of skin but the content of character will always win...
