Missing you
Missing you, oh how my heart aches, The pain and longing, my soul it takes. In the depths of my being, I yearn for you, The memories we shared, forever true. With every passing moment, I feel your absence, My world feels empty, devoid of your presence. Your touch, your voice, so vivid in my mind, Oh, how I long to be with you, to once again find. The nights are the hardest, when darkness falls, I find myself whispering your name in empty halls. The moon, a witness to my silent tears, As I reminisce about our love, tinged with fears. Every little thing reminds me of you, A song, a scent, bringing back memories so true. But no matter how much I try to pretend, This deep longing for you, I cannot mend. I look for you in crowded streets and crowded rooms, Hoping to catch a glimpse of you, but it only looms. It's in the silence, the quiet moments alone, That I feel your absence, never quite gone. Yet, in this longing, there's a flicker of hope, That one day, our paths will again elope. Until then, I'll hold onto the love we once knew, Missing you, my dear, in everything I do.
