Misery
They say misery loves company but mine is a different breed it loves solitude a perfect time to gnaw at my sanity and ironically I've grown to tolerate, even fall in love with it it holds me gently in it's arms comforting and listening to my sorrows never judging offering comfort shaping my pessimistic outlook providing safety for my heart my friend tells me to escape from its clutches but how can I? when all it's ever been is a harbor in this storm of life when it's been my meaning in a meaningless existence I belong with misery and it belongs with me It feels wrong to love it but it's so seductive so hauntingly beautiful and I fall deeper in love each single day and will continue to do so till death does us apart.
