Mirror
In the mirror, sometimes we wish, For eyes or hair, a different dish. But when we were younger, you see, We liked ourselves, just as can be. People want to look real nice, Like models in pictures, a common advice. But let's think, my little friend, What would our younger self commend? When we were kids, we didn't care, Laughing and dancing, everywhere. Younger us would surely find, Something special, always in our mind. Don't worry about what others say, Remember compliments in a happy array. Love the things that make you unique, "You're so pretty, your smile, what a chic!" See your body with a friendly gaze, As your younger self, in a joyful daze. Be kind, and you will find, The mirror becomes a friend, so kind. So, when you wish for something new, Think of happy moments, like morning dew. Love your body, a journey's start, A tale of strength, a loving heart.
