I've muddied reflections of memories into one, incoherent self. I've melted glassy eyes and shining smiles into an empty frame. I have become a host to histories that are not my own I've adopted personalities which do not belong to me I am a fraction, self, and wholly the surrounding I become what I see; the heartbreak of humanity, and the joy of 'self-discovery' Have I truly become the best version of me? Or am I just pretending to be like what I see? 11:58 pm Jun 28 2024
